The KunAqua Six

Where movement is rebuilt.

Not exercise sequences.
Not pool fitness.
Not speed or distance.

Six walking patterns performed slowly in water.

Because walking is the most repeated movement in human life — yet rarely examined.

Over time small differences appear.
One hip pushes harder.
One shoulder rotates more.
One foot lands slightly heavier.

On land these differences often remain hidden.

Water removes that disguise.

Drag slows movement.
Momentum disappears.
Each step must stabilise before the next begins.

This is where KunAqua begins.

Not with intensity.

With organisation.

The KunAqua Six rebuild posture, balance and gait under resistance.

Everything else in the system grows from here.

The Six Movements

Western Walk
Restores natural gait and alignment.

Namba Walk
Removes arm-leg opposition and challenges trunk stability.

Noble Walk
Arms rest behind the body so posture must organise itself.

Lateral Step
Rebuilds sideways balance and hip stability.

Hurdler’s Step
Develops single-leg control.

Hip Rotation Step
Restores controlled mobility in the hip joint.

Individually the movements appear simple.

Together they rebuild the structural foundation of the body.

Why It Matters

Most training begins with intensity.

KunAqua begins with structure.

Walking becomes quieter.
Posture steadies.
Balance improves.

Strength can then be built without reinforcing imbalance.

This is why the KunAqua Six are repeated at the beginning of every session.

Not as a warm-up.

As recalibration.

What Follows

Once walking becomes organised, the body is ready for deeper resistance work in water.

Strength develops.
Movement becomes efficient.
The joints experience load without unnecessary compression.

This is the purpose of KunAqua.

Not performance.

Longevity.

Built For Midlife

By midlife the body no longer needs more punishment.

It needs clarity.

The KunAqua Six provide that starting point.

Quiet work.
Precise movement.
Strength that lasts.
